Halloween

Halloween was celebrated at IPS on Friday 25th October. After dressing up in our favourite costumes, we started the celebrations with our 5 & 6th graders explaining the history and background of Halloween in a dramatic presentation. We approached each other with our trick or treat bags sharing and collecting candy and the odd trick. For the next hour we visited each other’s classrooms, where we were engaged in art & craft activities and some games such as Harry Potter’s famous quidditch! To end our celebrations we enjoyed spending some pocket money at our fair on toys, books and some scrumptious baking treats. The 5th & 6th graders ran the fair, negotiated the prices and earned a nice sum of money to purchase some resources for their classrooms. Fun was had by all!
